For those of you looking for a bite to eat before or after our cheese and wine social, there is plenty to choose from within walking distance of the city centre but here are some of our top tips. For drinks and anything from light bites, to full meals and desserts Cambridge Street Collective is a 5-minute walk from campus and is Europe’s biggest purpose-built food hall offering a huge range of of cuisines and a great atmosphere, Silversmiths in the middle of the city campus or if you fancy a stroll (20mins) there is plenty of choice on Ecclesall Road including Nonnas, Ashoka (a favourite of the Arctic Monkeys) and Cornerstone or at Kelham Island (25 mins) you’ll find Cutlery Works, Pina, and Neepsend Social. Alongside chain favourites Ego, Ask, Pizza Express, and Browns. For Cafes all within 10 mins of campus try Marmadukes, Tamper, Kollective Kitchen at Site Gallery, and Bird House Tea Company all offer excellent options (and great cake) again alongside chain favourites Costa, Cafe Nero, and Starbucks.
